Blueprint is a joint effort by OTC and Hecate Software and has captured much attention in the oil and gas industry for its ease-of-use and effectiveness in creating testing plans.
Blueprint is a stand-alone software used to plan tests of the choke manifold and BOP. Users drag-and-drop components stored in palettes – valves, iBOPs, annulars, pipe rams, etc. – and connect them using pipes.
Blueprint identifies on a test-by-test basis which pipes are at pressure and notifies the user when errors are encountered, such as isolated cavities, enabling them to correct them prior to outputting the result as a standard PDF file.
Blueprint is one of the essential pieces in OTC’s GreenLight digital pressure testing software suite but can also be used as a stand-alone testing design tool.
