Experts in Innovative Testing
OTC GreenLight, a Digital Pressure Testing (DPT) software suite, is designed to efficiently conduct, analyze and predict the outcome of a variety of pressure tests, not just those limited to BOPs. The new and improved GreenLight is the only system to achieve DNV RP A203 Technical Qualification and sets a new standard for digital pressure testing of Well Control Systems. Derived from the first digital system in the industry, it’s the best pressure testing technology providing superior test planning and optimization, analysis, documentation, leak detection and compliance support. All of this in less than half the time of traditional circle chart recording methods. It features software that allows maximum efficiency for our clients and their operations. Tests are recorded in a secure, binary file format. This format is proprietary – only tools specifically written by the OTC GreenLight team can read the file format. There are other tools also included in the GreenLight Suite.

Offshore Technical Compliance and ModuSpec enter into R&D agreement to advance well control assurance
Offshore Technical Compliance LLC (OTC), a leader in delivering regulatory compliance services and digital technology solutions to the global oil and gas industry, has entered into a research and development (R&D) agreement with global rig and well control equipment solutions specialists ModuSpec, to deliver a streamlined approach to well control system assurance.
Originally established in 2022, the strategic alliance between OTC Greenlight and ModuSpec continues to evolve, with both companies maintaining their independence as experts in real-time monitoring (RTM) and digital pressure testing (DPT) respectively.
OTC Greenlight’s DNV-qualified DPT platform has transformed well control verification, reducing test time by up to 50% while delivering accurate, auditable results. Complementing this, ModuSpec’s RTM services provide continuous insight into subsea and BOP system performance, enabling predictive maintenance and rapid issue resolution through advanced analytics.
Together, OTC Greenlight and ModuSpec offer a cohesive, simplified solution for well control assurance. Operators benefit from integrated data intelligence, streamlined workflows, and reduced non-productive time without the complexity of managing multiple vendors. The result is a unified, future-ready operational model that supports confident decision-making and long-term asset integrity, even in the most challenging offshore environments.
The partnership has now been extended alongside a new R&D agreement aimed at enhancing the combined RTM and DPT offering and further advancing ModuSpec’s RTM capabilities. The collaboration is set to deliver smarter, more integrated solutions that enhance safety and drive efficiency, reliability, and regulatory compliance across global offshore operations.
Mike Bethea, CEO of OTC, said, “This renewed partnership between OTC and ModuSpec reinforces our shared commitment to innovation in well control assurance. OTC’s considerable talents in digital solutions and AI combined with ModuSpec’s experience in well control assurance can now be fully leveraged to the benefit of our customers. I expect the combined R&D effort to yield industry leading innovation at an unmatched pace.”
Duco de Haan, CEO of MR Group – ModuSpec’s parent company – said, “Incorporating an R&D element into our agreement with OTC is a truly exciting development for all involved. Not only will this enable us to further enhance the unified solutions we bring to our clients, but we can leverage the considerable academic expertise in mathematics and AI of the OTC team combined with our own in-house technical experience to ensure we remain at the forefront of developments in the RTM arena.”
