Responsible for field based installation, commissioning, operation of BSEE approved Greenlight Digital Pressure Testing software and related equipment. Responsible for training rig personnel on utilization of Greenlight and related programs including the “Blueprint” test planning and analysis tool and the “Leaflet” documentation tool. Current on API Standard 53 and related CFR to ensure BOP testing meets new well control rule requirements.

Responsible for reliability of BOP, BOP control system and all subsea equipment. Conducted BOP testing, monitored subsea systems, troubleshoot issues with equipment to diagnose defects, reported equipment failures, and maintained subsea systems. Lead subsea engineer during start up of 6th generation Drill Ship, the Santa Ana. Stack up and commissioning of newbuild NOV 18-15K NXT BOP. Responsible for IAT testing during rig acceptance. Ensured compliance and regulatory requirements, company and operator requirements to ensure uptime of BOP stack and subsea equipment.
Subsea Engineer – Frontier Drilling
Responsible for maintenance and reliability of BOP, BOP control system and all subsea equipment. Built, maintained and worked on BOP’s, tensioners, crown mounted compensator, BOP control system, BOP crane and carts, C/K manifold and all other well control equipment. Performed pressure test and function test on BOP and C/K manifold.
Subsea Swat Team – Transocean Offshore
Started as a roustabout working up to the Subsea Swat team. Performed between well maintenance on BOP stacks
